About Beyond Senses

The Beyond Senses

Beyond Senses started in 2015 with a simple belief: architecture should do more than look impressive — it should make daily life better. Founders Ar. Nabeel V Basheer and Ar. Yahya Mahmood built the studio around a research-driven, detail-obsessed process where every decision has a reason: how a space works, how it feels, and how it holds up over time. Today, that same mindset guides every project — creating homes and spaces that are personal, practical, and quietly timeless.

That early mindset became the studio’s way of working: research-driven planning, close client collaboration, and serious attention to detail from concept to execution. Every project is approached as its own problem to solve — balancing aesthetics with real-world performance, lifestyle needs, and build practicality. Over time, this approach has shaped Beyond Senses into a multidisciplinary team delivering work across Kerala, India, and abroad — designing spaces that hold up, age well, and genuinely support the people who live and work inside them.
